Continental VanContact Ice — a winter tyre for minibuses and light commercial vehicles. Tyres of this model may be either studded or non-studded – whether a specific tyre is studded is shown in its name and technical specifications. In the studded version, the hardened steel studs are anchored in the rubber compound itself so fewer of them are shed, and the Ramp Ice Reservoir hollow collects the ice torn off the road to keep each stud clean. The Nordic Matrix compound blends silica, oil and carbon black; rims 15–17 inches.
